START HERE: BROWS
NATIONAL BROW DAY — OCTOBER 2
Look at your brows up close.
Take a close-up photo. Daylight. No makeup on the brow.
Do not upload it. This is for you.
Here's what I look at in the chair:
- Is the hair there?
- Can you see it?
- What is the hair doing?
Zoom in. Check three spots.
The inner corner. Is the hair there? Standing up, lying flat, barely visible?
The middle. Which way does it grow? Curling, crossing, doing its own thing?
The tail. Is it there? Can you see it?
Now put the phone down and look in the mirror.
Not the photo — you. Step back.
Up close, you see hairs. From across the room, you see light and dark. That's grayscale.
Pale, gray, translucent or baby-fine brow hair can disappear visually even when the hair is there. That is a different problem from missing hair.
Because light hair can look missing. Wiry or curly hair can make the shape look wrong. One little gap can make you think you need to fill the whole brow.
Those are different problems. And they need different answers.
Which sounds most like your brows right now?
1. My brows look thin or like hair is missing.
Start by separating true missing hair from hair that may simply be hard to see or manage.
Next step: Education first. If this is genuinely a longer-horizon fuller-looking-brow need, Roller Brow + Brow-Enhancing Serum may fit after classification. Sudden, unusual or unexplained hair loss belongs outside cosmetic scope.
2. My brow is there, but I can barely see it.
You may have more brow than you think. Hair that is present but visually disappearing is different from hair that is missing.
Next step: Education or professional brow color where appropriate. There is no current Genuist consumer product for this hair-color job.
3. I have brow hair, but it is dry, wiry, curly or hard to control.
That may be a hair-condition problem before it is a shape problem.
Next step: Revival Brow for daily conditioning/manageability; Brow Renewal when deeper conditioning is appropriate. If hold remains a separate job, Brow Primer can follow.
4. My brow hair will not stay where I put it.
Conditioning and hold are different jobs.
Next step: Brow Primer for flexible styling and hold. Brow Primer goes last in the brow routine.
5. I can see a gap or light skin through my brow.
You may need targeted definition—not more texture across the entire brow.
Next step: Roller Brow Defining Pen for targeted exposed-skin definition. Stain the gap; do not automatically add more texture across the whole brow.
6. I am not sure what to remove, or the shape feels wrong.
Preserve before you remove. One hair can materially affect the architecture of a brow.
Next step: Education or professional brow help. If you’re unsure which hairs to tweeze, let’s look at your brows together before you remove anything.
7. I am not sure what my brows need.
Good. Start with observation before you start changing them.
Next step: Education/help first. No product by default.
Tell me about your brows.
